Blue Door - Brand Illustrations

We worked with With Us and their client Blue Door to create a suite of brand illustrations and add motion to a selection of brand assets.

We were approached by Blue Door and WithUs to create a suite of brand illustrations. The challenge was to balance complex concepts with a playful, creative style. An inky, bold brush style helped us achieve a human, handmade quality.

Process

We started by jotting down all initial ideas, narrowing them down to the most promising concepts, and presenting those sketches as 'Rough Ideas' (A–C).

Through client discussions and iterative refinement, we developed these into 'Refined sketches' and ultimately the 'Final illustrations' (D).

Motion

Motion is at the heart of our studio and we loved having an excuse to bring this playful, creative and intelligent brand to life. We delivered typographic motion that was simple but expertly polished. This complemented the charming and characterful animation of the brand illustrations.
